You will find three basic options to submit a request:

Quick copy – Use this option for basic black and white copy jobs with a total quantity of 1,000 finished pieces or less. Restricted to jobs with simple stapling and no folding.

Printing Order – Use this option for more complex jobs including: press jobs, color copying, graphic design, signage, NCR printing (multiple copy forms) , and jobs with cutting, folding, and advanced bindery.

Store Order – Use to order any pre-printed or unprinted items, such as college letterhead and envelopes, plain or colored blank paper and card/cover stock.

LaPan Services building is located beyond the baseball and softball field near the very back of the campus. It is accessible by foot down the paved pathway between right field of Joe Bruno Stadium and the football field. It is accessible by vehicle traveling North Road to the very end, beyond the Cogen Plant.

How to Submit a Request for Printing or Graphics Work

First, you must be registered to use the system (see blue side bar). You will then need to receive an approval e-mail stating you can log into the system.

When you submit a work order request, you will have the option of uploading a file to be printed. (We strongly recommend doing this if possible. It will speed up the turn around time and you can submit tickets remotely.)

But what if you only have a hard copy of your document? Or what if you have updates for a document that the Graphics Department already has? You can print out the ticket that the system creates in a pop-up window and attached it to the document. Then send the document and ticket to the Graphics Department through interoffice mail.

If your document file cannot be automatically converted into a pdf file by Active PDF on our system (such as an MS Publisher file). (Visit the ActivePDF document list to see what file types are eligible for pdf conversion.) You should then instead install the PrimoPDF maker available for free download. This tool can be used as a printer driver to create a PDF from virtually any document type, similar to Adobe Acrobat Professional. It is advised that all copy (text) used for non-course materials be first submitted to the Communications and Marketing Office for editorial review and approval. As published in the Communications Guide, it is college policy that all non-course design and print work is reviewed for editorial and design content in the best interest of consistent branding and marketing of the college. Please contact the Communications and Marketing Department to determine your appropriate editorial representative and his/her contact information.
